Guest Reviews
Kristen and Tay are the epitome of hospitality: prompt, clear and professional communication, generous and accommodating. They have created a fairytale-like space to welcome their guests and have made sure to include thoughtful touches throughout their cabin that would put any fine hotel to shame. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry rooms are fully-stocked - no need to bring anything except personal items. We were there specifically to photograph the aurora and they’ve thought of every detail to make it a possibility from just outside their front door (if the weather cooperates). We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! The cabin feels like it’s in a remote corner of the state, but so close to restaurants, shopping and the airport. We loved Aurora Restaurant (for super-casual Mediterranean food) and Jazz Bistro for Cuban and live music from the delightful owners! Don’t miss the cinnamon rolls from The Cookie Jar!

Easily the best spot I’ve stayed in Fairbanks, and I’ve stayed in several. Hotels are stupid expensive and this lovely cabin in the woods is literally half the price for twice the space. It’s a bit out of town, so plan on getting groceries and save your dollars for dinners back in the city. Very quiet well outfitted and CLEAN. Washer and dryer plus full size kitchen and three true beds make this an obvious winner.

The place is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is spotless clean, the location is top. An absolutely cozy home away from home. We enjoyed every minute! We‘ll return for sure if we happen to be in Fairbanks again. Thank you for a really memorable stay!

Amazing cabin easy to get to close to town yet far enough away to be away from the light pollution. This cabin is located in a winter wonder land; it’s by far the Most beautiful winter scenery I’ve ever seen!! We didn’t even have to leave the cabin to see the Aurora. We were able to see the lights from the upstairs king bedroom lg window, from the porch, the driveway and out the kitchen window!

The cabin was perfect for our family of teens/preteen. We loved it! Cabin was neat and clean. The 2 king beds were definitely a plus! The pans and utensils were top notch in my opinion. We would stay here again and recommend to friends! Host responded to my message right away.

WuTeh & Kristen were super responsive, flexible, & patient. They went above and beyond in accommodating all of our needs/requests and even sent us a notification on when the northern lights were active. The cabin is in a prime location to see the northern lights so you don't have to venture outside the comfort of the cabin to see it. The cabin was warm upon entering and they had all the plumbing inside which many other Airbnb cabins/treehouses did not. This is a must for us since we don't want to go to another location to use the shower or bathrooms in the winter weather. The cabin itself is very clean, the beds are comfy, & there's tv subscription platforms for all the rooms. They even provided water, drinks, coffee, & snacks which really were life savers for us given our crazy schedule. We cannot recommend this place enough & it has definitely made our top Airbnb list :)

Had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was clean, spacious, and private. We appreciated the guidebook with local recommendations as well as the Aurora photography tips booklet. We were so excited to be able to see the Aurora on our first night, despite a cloudy weather forecast. Highly recommend!

This cabin represents a number of Airbnb things done right. If you're considering the property and it seems more expensive, that's because it's worth it. Being a wilderness cabin owner myself, I understand the depth. This property costs more for what it is, well, because it's better and has more expenses to pull off urban luxury in a remote setting.
The Aurora Ridge Cabin is a true wilderness retreat. Yet, there are extras like a dishwasher, washer/dryer, internet, modern heating system (yes, an extra in the woods).
Stay here at the intersection of western living, wilderness values, joy, respecting water usage, caring about the environment, in a dark zone, a fantastic aurora viewing location- right off the deck 22, min from the airport.
The kitchen is well appointed with anything the average committed amateur chef may need, beds comfy, immaculately clean, plenty of towels paper goods & other staples, easy check in/out. Host is responsive and lovely- highly recommended.

The first night was nothing short of magical…northern lights & a moose! Perfect space for 3 couples and extremely clean. Eat at The Turtle Club 3 miles away!

Perfection. My kids love this space and everything is so thoughtful. They have everything you need - coffee, tea, oatmeal, hot coco! The location is very easy to find and the view was magical. This is a place to stay if you want to see the northern light and you do not want to leave your house.

Absolutely perfect! So private and in the most perfect location. We were able to see the aurora right from the porch. We will definitely be back!

Booked the cabin for explicit purpose of gazing at the night sky ... and it did NOT disappoint. Driveway was well plowed for easy access. Key pad made entry simple. Helpful notes throughout the house with information on how to set the heater, how to disable the motion detector security lights if you're watching the auroras, information on how the water and heating oil are delivered. Three very comfortable bedrooms, kitchen with everything you need for preparing meals. Only 20 minutes from airport but far enough to lose the bright lights and feel secluded. Hosts were quick to respond to any queries and super friendly. I enjoyed my stay so much that I already booked again to come back next year.

The cabin is by far the best AirBnB we have ever stayed in. The comfortable beds, stunning views, seclusion, and genuine feeling of home made this a five-star experience. The cabin is impeccably clean. We enjoyed sitting on the patio taking in the views basking in the Midnight sun! The owner and host have thought of everything! They provided snacks, drinks, shower and laundry essentials, and custom koozies, among other things. The kitchen is well-appointed, we also grilled a few meals, and the cozy living area was a great place to unwind. The guidebook we received at booking did all the research for us, pointing out great places to eat, and suggested unique activities. It made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. The cabin is in a perfect location. Just a short scenic drive to Fairbanks. Denali is 1.5 hours away, and the drive is breathtaking, making it the perfect distance for a day trip; the same can be said for Chena Hot Springs.

Absolutely AMAZING Cozy Log Cabin in the woods! This was our home away from home for 8 days, and it was perfect in every way. First it was spotlessly clean, pristine in fact! The living room boasts a nice sized TV, but since we spent our down time soaking up the sun and view from the front porch it wasn't used very much. The wildlife was wonderful, the privacy impeccable and beds were big, comfy and cozy. Best VRBO we have ever stayed at. The information provided was so well done, it shared everything you wanted to know and more that you weren't aware you needed to know. All artfully and skillfully done, just like the beautiful art in the cabin. We can't say enough how wonderful this cabin is. Super close to everything, yet surrounded by nature and trees - and a MOOSE - don't forget the moose. He is awesome. The fire pit and grill were nice too. Every time we came "home" we would stop and marvel at the beauty of both the cabin and the view. Last but not least the owners and customer service were TOP TIER! The communication and set-up of everything was so well done. THANK YOU for sharing your beautiful home. We loved every second that we were there, and hope to return.
